About Peterborough Astronomical Society

Peterborough Astronomical Society meet on the first Thursday of every month from September through to June.We meet at the Copeland community centre which is in Copeland,South Bretton,Peterborough.Meetings normally start at 19.30.

We are a small friendly society, some of us are happy observing the heavens through telescopes, some of us are interested in imaging the night sky with either DSLR camera's,dedicated CCD's,webcams,or video camera's

Some members are also interested in making there own telescopes and observatories. But we all have a interest and passion for the night sky.

Normally the September meeting is the society AGM and 4-5 of the meetings after September we will have outside guest speakers visit the society. We also have film show nights and observing evenings.

For more information on the society please email me Martin Hall (Chairman) at martinhall20@hotmail.com
